Heubach Test

The Heubach tests required in ESTA/SeedGuard may only be carried out by qualified/certified laboratories according to ESA's standardized method "Assessment of free floating dust and abrasion particles of treated seeds as a parameter of the quality of treated seeds". Laboratories that carry out Heubach tests are obliged to provide proof of compliance with the above-mentioned reference method. On the one hand, successful participation in a laboratory competence test (ring test) or successful CoP certification by the certification body SGS Germany GmbH serves this purpose.

It is the responsibility of each laboratory to inform its customers whether or not their participation in the Ring Test was successful.
